The role

The Deputy Director, Development and Industry will develop and manage industry partnerships and a portfolio of high-net worth individuals with the goal of securing significant philanthropic gifts to support established priorities. This will include a number of high profile strategic capital projects and philanthropic programmes.

 

The person

Applicants should have relevant experience in roles that demonstrate successful outcomes in cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of significant client relationships (individual and corporate) and a demonstrated ability to ineract and negotiate with senior industry management. Although prior experience managing philanthropic relationships in educational development is well regarded, it is more important that you have some first hand experience of understanding the requirements of industry partners and the ways in which they operate.

Remuneration

This is a full-time continuing appointment at HEW level 9. The remuneration package will be in the range $108,810.14 - $115,144.01 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range ($127,307.86 - $134,718.49 p.a.).
