Cashier, Finance

We are looking for highly energetic and self-motivated inpidual with the ability to manage the cash counter for the Treasury department.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities would include:

• Collect Cash, Cheque, and or credit card from inpatient and outpatient visitors, attendants, patients and or staff.
• Ensure that revenue collected should be entered into cashier module at proper options.
• Deal with patients, visitors and or attendants in a professional manner by being courteous and caring; so as to ensure an overall positive impact.
• Ensure that all revenue collected during the day should be reconciled with the cashier report and physical cash available, and to be deposited with the Cashier Supervisor or in the Night Safe.
• Liaise with the Cashier supervisor, Financial Counselor and Credit and Collection Section for correct identification of patient; the amount, account of cash collection or refund.
• All un-reconciled cash either excess or shortage to be reported to the supervisor.
• Any other work assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

• Intermediate with a Commerce background.
• One year of cashiering experience.
• Ability to deal with people and computer skills are a must.
