Job Details
The Algal Genetics lab at the Station Biologique de Roscoff, France is seeking highly skilled and motivated postdoctoral candidate with demonstrated expertise in evolutionary biology and transcriptomics to join an exciting ERC funded project to study the evolutionary forces and the molecular processes involved in transitions between dioicy and monoicy in the brown algae.
The Algal Genetics Group is interested in the evolution and development of the brown algae. The Station Biologique de Roscoff is a Research and Education Center located in the Northwest of France, 3h from Paris. For further information visit our website: http://www.sb-roscoff.fr/en/algal-genetics-0
The candidate should be highly trained in molecular biology, transcriptomics (RNAseq analysis) and evolutionary genomics approaches with a very strong interest for the evolution of mating systems in photosynthetic organisms. Interest and experience in non-model organisms is a plus.
