  • Hulpverlening aan die Fakulteitsadministrateur (Assistentregistrateur) van die Fakulteit Lettere en Sosiale Wetenskappe met die studente-administrasie van die Fakulteit met betrekking tot toelating, registrasie, en verloop van studie tot kwalifikasieverwerwing;
  • Uitvoering van ‘n verskeidenheid algemene administratiewe take wat met die voorafgaande verband hou;
  • Verleen advies en steun aan voornemende en geregistreerde studente, akademiese personeel en ander steundiensafdelings;
  • Verrigting van ad hoc-take soos operasioneel vereis.
  • Assisting the Faculty Administrator (Assistant Registrar) of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences with the student administration of the faculty regarding admission, registration and progress of studies until awarding of qualification;
  • Performing a number of general administrative tasks related to the aforementioned;
  • Providing advice and assistance to prospective and registered students, academic personnel and other support service departments;
  • Performing ad hoc tasks as operationally required.

  • Uitstekende mondelinge en geskrewe kommunikasievaardighede in beide Afrikaans en Engels;
  • Uitstekende menseverhoudinge;
  • Bewese rekenaarvaardigheid, insluitend die professionele hantering van e-kommunikasie;
  • Die vermoë om effektief onder druk te funksioneer;
  • Die vermoë om selfstandig en noukeurig te werk;
  • Bereidwilligheid en beskikbaarheid om op eie inisiatief buite kantoorure te werk indien operasioneel vereis.
  • A university degree;
  • Excellent administrative skills, or the potential for the development thereof;
  • Effective planning, organisational and prioritising skills, or the potential for the development thereof;
  • An excellent spoken and written command of both English and Afrikaans;
  • Sound interpersonal skills;
  • Proven computer proficiency, including professional management of e-communication;
  • The ability to function effective under pressure;
  • The ability to function independently and accurately;
  • Willingness and availability to work outside normal office hours on own initiative if operationally required.
  • Werkservaring binne die hoër onderwysomgewing;
  • Taalvaardigheid in isiXhosa.
  • Work experience in the higher education environment;
  • Language proficiency in isiXhosa.
