    We are seeking to appoint a gifted researcher with special interest in musculoskeletal care to develop, coordinate and supervise several research studies within our Discipline of Physiotherapy. Working with Professor Arianne Verhagen , our new Head of Discipline and an expert in primary care musculoskeletal disorders, you will contribute to the development of a new research department and play a key role in expanding the discipline's research strengths.  

    This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with an excellent track record in health research, strong skills in collaboration, and high level conceptual and analytical skills. You will have stand out abilities in qualitative and/or quantitative data analysis and are adept at grant writing and project management. More important though will be your enthusiasm and dedication to developing and leading innovative research in physiotherapy.

    With our primary location situated close to Sydney's CBD next to Central Station, Physiotherapy also has a home within Sydney's elite sporting precinct at Moore Park in the Rugby Australia Building. These facilities include high-tech research labs, state-of-the-art classrooms and study spaces, a multi-purpose sports hall, a resistance training facility and specialist post-grad learning spaces.     This position is full-time and appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for three years.

    This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary.
