International Demand Planner - Chemical Company - Cologne

I am currently working on a new brand new position with a global chemical company who are looking for an experienced and motivate Demand Planner to join their growing Supply Chain Team. My client has grown to over 5000 employees and have been around for over 100 years, operating in the EU, US and Asia. As a company, my client operates across multiple sectors including: organic & fine chemicals, pharmaceutical - active ingredients, cosmetic, flavours and fragrance.

This opportunity is perfect for someone who is looking for a challenging role and have the chance to develop the demand planning department from scratch. You will also have the chance to work in a diverse environment, where you are exposed to multiple industry and build experience in a number of areas. The team based in Germany is very international and come from all areas of the world and you will also be in close contact with offices across the Globe. This is a perfect opportunity to gain a strong international network and also gain an understanding of how other countries work and operate.

You will be responsible for:

• Interpreting and editing forecast data
• Generating monthly reports
• Coordination very closely with purchasing, quality control, product safety, product management
• Monitoring and optimising stock and finished products; including semi-finished raw materials
• improving demand planning processes

Candidate must have:

• 3+ years Demand Planning experience
• Working in a manufacturing environment
• Fluent in German (B-Level) & English
