IT Engineer - Bochum, Germany

I am looking for an IT Quality Engineer for the market leader in Automated dispense systems, IV robotics, and analytics software. The Machines that the right candidate would get to work with are already successfully installed and helping people more than 4000 places around EU and they are growing fast in Germany creating a lot of opportunities for young ambitious new employees.

Are you looking to start your future in QA IT then you probably like to:

• Install computer images at machines scheduled to be installed at customer sites
• Provide technical direction to our helpdesk team for remote troubleshooting & repair of computer equipment
• Determines specifications and identifies suppliers for computers and accessories, including servers, routers, switches, COM ports and drivers
• Test and verify various hardware and peripherals
• Build new computer systems
• Ability to work under pressure and to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• Selecting hardware and materials and making recommendations on modifications and additions
• Staying current on advances in computer technology
• Building, testing and modifying prototypes of new products

If all of this sounded easy and exciting then you probably have:

• A Degree in a related technical field such as information technology and computer architecture.
• The ability to support users in a clear, respectful manner both over the phone and in person in both English and German
• The ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with non-technical users in both English and German
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Significant knowledge in Microsoft (MS) Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8.1, 10) MS Office (2010 and 2013) Active Directory, Exchange/Outlook and other MS products.
• Experience with LAN/WAN TCP/IP networks, and Cisco VPN
