Support & Infrastructure IT specialist- French Swiss Healthcare sector - French/English a MUST
Our client, a well renowned developer and manufacturer of Medical Devices products globally, and located in French speaking Switzerland. Currently they seek a IT specialist in Support & Infrastructure to work in a small team environment, strengthen the IT group, and develop and optimise tools to support to users.
This is an urgent role, a role that has local and multi-site IT support responsibilities, globalising information systems and assisting remote administrators accordingly. It will include hands on maintenance, backup, monitoring and administering servers in accordance with the local security criteria and the needs of the company. Hands on duties to include
- User management and application deployment
- Management of messaging, Internet access and secure connections
- Some leadership in User training and evaluating new technologies of potential benefit.
- Network and security management, virtual infrastructure, data storage and archiving
- Management of administration, maintenance, backup, monitoring of servers and services
- Office equipment management and IT inventory management
- Contribute to the system management documentation, develop manuals and procedures
Typically this level of position requires around 5 years working in a similar position of support and infrastructure (administration) with training in the Computer Sciences, and a very good level of both French and English
