What we are looking for:

* Degree ( preferably PhD) in relevant subject
* Solid relevant scientific experience including toxicology (ideally board certification or master's degree in toxicology)
* Post-doctoral research in a discipline of interest/relevance, e.g. molecular/cellular biology, immunology, oncology or pathology
* Academic, CRO or industry experience in pre-/non-clinical drug development
* Excellent communication skills in English
* The ability to critically evaluate, interpret and integrate large datasets and literature
* Experience interacting with regulatory agencies

Your daily tasks will include:

* Develop in-depth understanding of and strategies for characterising and managing target liabilities
* Design and implement exploratory and regulatory toxicology studies
* Manage and analyse a wide range of datasets and literature
* Work cross-functionally to contribute to program development by acting as a representative for CBSS
* Liaise within CBSS to leverage internal subject matter expertise in pre-/non-clinical safety assessment
* Participate in activities related to the CTA/IND application and market authorization
* Work in multi-disciplinary German and US teams
