Our client is a Global leader within Analytical Services currently seeking an Application consultant based in Boston Massachusetts.

Working as part of a small team; you will essentially be a subject matter expert in delivering high performance computing solutions, as well as Data Lake Platform solutions. The right candidate would have extensive experience in Linux scripting, HPC build and configuration, Data Lake technologies, as well as familiarity with cloud implementation.

As this is a customer facing position; you are given the opportunity to network with some of the biggest player sin the industry. In addition my client is known for internal promotion so it's a great career move if you are looking to climb the ladder.

Requirements:

  • Very strong Linux experience
  • Strong ANSIBLE experience
  • AWS migration experience highly preferred
  • Effective configuration management, preferably using Ansible
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good requirements analysis & documentation experience

Responsibilties:

  • Report directly to HPC lead for configuring and developing solutions
  • Strong ANSIBLE experience and skills a must
  • AWS migration experience highly preferred
  • Strong leadership and the ability to operate independently
  • Architecture and administration of large GNU/Linux installations
  • Scripting, automation, provisioning, and configuration management
  • Virtualization and cloud orchestration
