Are you a dynamic and proactive administrator, with experience in organising and promoting conferences, seminars, colloquia and other research related events?

Do you have the ability to promote a successful research culture and help to enhance the reputation of the School?

As a Management Support Officer (Research), you will be the first point of contact for queries relating to research processes in the School. You will be a dynamic and proactive administrator, with the ability to promote a successful research culture and help to enhance the reputation of the School, by providing dedicated administrative support to the School's Director of Research and Innovation (DoRI), Director of Impact (DoI), Unit of Assessment Lead (UoA) for the Research Excellence Framework (REF) Submission and the Director of Postgraduate Research (PGR) Students. You will work with the Research, Impact and Management Officer to support staff with research related administration in the School, such as organising the School Research Seminar Series and other research group activities, providing administrative support for small/unfunded research projects, and facilitating research related meetings. With previous relevant administrative experience, you will possess a knowledge of and interest in research in a Higher Education Institution and will have experience in organising and promoting conferences, seminars, colloquia and other research related events.
