The Robert B. Annis Water Resources Institute (AWRI) of Grand Valley State University is seeking a geospatial ecologist/watershed modeler to complement the existing Faculty and Principal Investigators at AWRI.  A Ph.D. is required; postdoctoral experience is preferred.  The selected candidate will have a demonstrated record of: conducting quality research; obtaining extramural funding for research and publishing findings in the peer-reviewed scientific literature; ability to teach graduate courses in field of expertise; and desire to work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.  Teaching responsibilities include advanced courses in the applicant’s area of expertise.  Faculty members also advise undergraduate and graduate students, serve on academic committees, and perform community service.  This is a 12-month, tenure-track position with benefits.  Salary is commensurate with skills and experience.  Apply on-line (only) at www.jobs.gvsu.edu.  Review of applications will begin on October 1, 2018 and the position will remain open until filled.
