Job Details

Our client is a leading Car Manufacturer based in the Netherlands. They are looking to hire a Head of Sales for Electric Vehicles. The position is based in Amsterdam and English language is sufficient.

In this role you will have coverage of the whole European market. You will working with the network across all regions and countries, ensuring that profitability is maximised. This will mean that you are the main person in the EV business for the brand in the whole of Europe! It's a fantastic opportunity to develop an international network and to take your career to a whole new level. You will be in charge of setting up your team as well and expanding the whole department. It's a great responsibility to take on and it's only for professionals who are interested in operating on a top level.

You will be working with Electric Vehicles - the future of the automotive. You will get acquainted with the latest models and technology and ensure your job progression for the future as well. It's a great chance to improve your knowledge, work on interesting and innovative projects and lead and coach the sales team. You will get immense satisfaction from such a dynamic, and future-oriented role on the global automotive market.

You will be:

  • Developing and executing localised European (PH)EV strategies
  • Leading distributors in setting up and executing business plans to drive the (PH)EV business
  • Localising and deploying Global (PH)EV communication strategies
  • Implementing (PH)EV sales training and development /deployment of sales tools to European distributors
  • Managing life cycle launch activities locally
  • Coaching, motivating and leading employees

Your profile:

  • Commercial or Technical Master's Degree
  • Fluency in English, other languages are plus
  • Experience in leading/coaching/managing a team
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of the automotive market, regulatory environment, power train developments
  • Excellent negotiation skills
