Research Assistant in the Department of Medicine (Ref.: 201801393) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have:

  • a Bachelor's degree related to health disciplines; 
  • knowledge in epidemiology and biostatistics; 
  • skills in working with SPSS and Excel; 
  • the ability to work independently; 
  • a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and (vi) good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Those with research experience in clinical medicine would be preferred.

 

The appointee will perform as a team member in recruitment, assessment, data collection and analysis in research studies. Duties include:

  • providing assistance in data collection by questionnaire in elderly health centers outside hospital; 
  • data entry and analysis; 
  • database management; 
  • communicating with participants.

 

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
