Tenure-track Assistant Professor in Human Ecology
Indiana University – Bloomington
The School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) at Indiana University-Bloomington seeks to appoint a tenure-track faculty member at the Assistant Professor level in Human Ecology.
Applicants should have research interests in the general field of human behavior and the natural environment, with a focus on understanding society's adaptive capacity and resilience in the face of environmental change. Related research interests might include, but are not limited to, human risk perceptions and decision-making, human use of natural resources, human use and management of working lands, human/environment feedbacks, political ecology, and environmental justice. The Ph.D. or an equivalent terminal degree in a related field is required (e.g., human ecology, environmental studies, environmental anthropology, rural or environmental sociology, political science, environmental psychology, sustainability, etc.).
