This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership position in a strong and established academic school at a time of major growth and expansion. The School of Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Engineering Maths (SCEEM) delivers world-class research and excellent teaching and will form a fundamental part of the University's involvement in the Temple Quarter Campus.

The Deputy School Manager plays a pivotal role within the School, supporting the School Manger in leading the delivery of School professional services, and working alongside and providing crucial advice and support to the Head of School to enable him/her to fulfil their academic leadership responsibilities.

The Deputy School Manager will line manage specific teams, lead discrete projects within the school, deputise for the School Manager and help build the capability and capacity of the professional services team.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a sound understanding of the Higher Education sector, a confident and effective communicator with experience of managing change. You should have a demonstrable track record of delivering an anticipatory approach to Equality and Diversity.

It is anticipated that interviews will take place shortly after the closing date.

This position is being offered on a full-time, open-ended contract.
