Job Details

Are you a rising star in the field of quantum communications research?

Would you like to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology?

Do you want to further your career and work in one of the UK's leading research intensive Universities?

You will join a recently funded project on satellite-based quantum key distribution (QKD) systems. This is funded by Partnership Resources of the National Hub for Quantum Communications Technologies in the UK. You will collaborate with international research groups at the National University of Singapore, University of Waterloo, University of York, RAL Space, and ID Quantique. The project concerns the security of satellite QKD systems, and you will be working with Dr Mohsen Razavi, at the School of Electronic and Electrial Engineering, and other members of his research group at the University of Leeds. You will bring expertise in QKD security analysis in either discrete-variable and/or continuous-variable regimes. Knowledge of satellite or wireless communications systems is desired.
