Director - Anti Money Laundering - 1st line

Our client, an international Swiss company is looking for an experienced Compliance professional to head up a team of 15, giving you the chance to step up to a leadership position.

Responsibilities:

-The identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting of compliance risks. Defining and monitoring the implementation of appropriate and effective controls.
-Continuous development and expansion of the compliance framework
-Edit compliance issues heavyweight in privacy, financial crime, outsourcing, and financial market infrastructure regulation
-Close follow-up of legal and regulatory changes in Germany and abroad (especially EU) in the aforementioned areas of law and preparation of internal regulations based on legal and regulatory requirements including appropriate employee training
-Internal consulting of the business units (1st Line of Defense) in Compliance issues as well as in interdisciplinary projects and the design of new services in an international environment; actively supporting business units in achieving sustainable success
-Checking existing processes and, if necessary, implementing necessary adjustments
-Management of Compliance Team and close cooperation with the colleagues of Risk Management, Corporate Security, and Legal.

PROFILE:

-Many years of sound management experience in compliance functions, preferably in the financial industry and in an international environment
-Interest in IT-based processes and applications
-Experience in the management of high-level stakeholders in executive management and board of directors.
-German and excellent English skills
