The Centre for eLearning Innovation Partnerships in Science and Engineering (eLIPSE)

The Centre for eLearning Innovation Partnerships in Science and Engineering (eLIPSE) acts as an incubator for technologies supporting learning, and, through cooperation with the University's Information Technology Services (ITS), develops prototypes for eLearning tools suitable for deployment across the University. 

 

The role

The successful appointee will develop, in an agile team environment, online learning applications that enhance the student learning experience. The position is expected to take responsibility for projects, guiding the design, development, integration, and evaluation through to successful completion. 

 

The person

You are an experienced software developer with a dedication and passion for your craft.  You work closely with others to create designs, and realise solutions that enhance user experiences. You are a capable communicator who is able to express and explain your ideas to a diverse group of people.

We are interested in your stories of innovation, application of technologies, team dynamics, and agile development.  As a group, we use emerging technologies such as TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS.  You are the type of person who continually refines technology stacks, and adjusts agile processes to better help your team with the development of significant and purposeful solutions in the domain of online eLearning.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

Remuneration

This is a full-time, fixed-term appointment at HEW Level 6. The remuneration package will be in the range $74,207 - $79,964p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $86,822 - $93,558 p.a.).
