The University is committed to providing a highly positive, engaged and rounded experience to each individual student.  It is looking to appoint an inaugural Pro Vice-Chancellor for Student Experience who will work closely with the Pro Vice-Chancellor Education and senior academic and professional colleagues as the institution seeks to enhance its services for and engagement with students.  The post holder will provide expert strategic advice to the Vice-Chancellor and Board of Trustees on the student experience at Bristol, and lead on the development and implementation of the University Strategy on student engagement, wellbeing, inclusion, resilience, careers and wider student voice matters.

 

The Pro Vice-Chancellor for Student Experience will be a strategic, service-oriented individual with a comprehensive understanding of the evolving UK higher education sector.  The successful candidate will be an academic leader who puts the students at the heart of all they do.  This new position requires an individual who is dynamic, bright and passionate about the difference that education makes, and who reflects impact and optimism for every student's future.  They must have a forward-thinking outlook and the courage to try new initiatives. The University of Bristol is committed to diversity and inclusion at all levels and in all forms.
