Requirements:
The applicant must have experience in cellular and molecular biology, physiology and/or genetics to select and characterize genes involved with BP regulation.
Structure
The lab is well funded and I will be available to discuss experimental strategies, results and prepare data for publication. We offer excellent laboratory infrastructure and multidisciplinary team to carry on genetic, molecular, cellular, pre-clinical, clinical and population studies (http://genetica.incor.usp.br, also check PUBMED under krieger je).

Selected candidates will be contacted within 1-2 weeks to discuss the proposal via email, skype conference or in person. We will support you to prepare and submit the final proposal in English and serve as adviser.
The Laboratory of Genetic and Molecular Cardiology (LGMC) is located at the Heart Institute (InCor) in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Fifty percent of all scientific papers in Brazil are produced in the State of São Paulo and the University of Sao Paulo responds for almost half of that. The InCor is a tertiary 500 bed hospital dedicated to Cardiovascular Medicine within the largest Medical Center in Latin American and affiliated to the University of Sao Paulo Medical School. The InCor is tailored to develop translational cardiovascular research and is waiting for you to advance the field.
