A London based Local Authority is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to provide management to 1 of the Local Authorities MASH team

This Local Authority is on an improvement journey and is to be considered if you are looking to have an impact on the development of a team and service. You will have the opportunity to bring your own ideas to the table and suggest ways in which to improve practice and efficiency, all of which will be considered. Due to this those candidates who are successful in their application will be highly sought after in the future as this post will evidence your ability to be a part of a Local Authorities improvement.

During the recent focused Ofsted inspection the MASH team had been commended on its effectiveness and efficiency at dealing with service users that may have breached the threshold for intervention. There is also a cohesive mutli agency approach with a good working synergy between all agencies.

The Local Authority has unique challenges related to the region, one of which is a surge in the number of Knife crimes, so this is of particular focus. Along with gangs, domestic violence and radicalisation you will develop experience in these areas which will be supported by a number of training modules.

To be considered for this post you should have extensive experience in the capacity of a Senior Practitioner within a MASH or Assessment service.
