An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated administrator to join the School of Cellular of Molecular Medicine as a job share (14 hours per week). We are seeking to appoint an exceptional part-time Undergraduate Student Administrator to provide administrative support for undergraduate teaching and related activities, from induction and registration to graduation, working with the Student Administration Manager and the rest of the student support team, including academic staff.

The role requires someone who can work with minimal supervision in a busy and friendly School, working in partnership with colleagues to deliver an exceptional service to our stakeholders most notably students and academic staff.  The busy, student-facing School team has a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service and is an exciting and rewarding place in which to work.  A strong track-record in student-related administration is essential as is the ability to manage multiple processes and tasks at one time.

The successful candidate will need:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to multi-task
  • A good level of numeracy skills
  • The ability to work under pressure to important deadlines in a busy office
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A friendly, positive and proactive attitude and approach


The position is offered on a part-time (40%), 6 months fixed term contract on a job share arrangement with a fixed working a pattern of  Wednesday, 15:00 - 17:00; Thursday 10:00 - 16:00; Friday 10:00 - 16:00.
