Job Details
We are looking for Senior Analytical Scientists to join our team in Morpeth.This is a permanent position and will be an deal role for candidates who have a passion for science and scientific learning! If this sounds like you, please continue reading.
Your tasks will include:
* Analytical Method Development for subsequent validation to ICH standards.
* Forced degradation study design, analysis of degradation profiles and application to method development
* Laboratory equipment validation & calibration to ensure suitability of intended use
* Method troubleshooting and problem solving activities across the quality function
* Providing ideas into the team that will improve equipment / process productivity, subsequently participates in the implementation of these improvements.
Required skills
- MSc or a Doctorate in MChem or equivalent in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry discipline.
- Industrial experience in chromatography and mass spectrometry (LC-MS and or GC-MS techniques), ideally preferred.
- Experience in Analytical Chemistry/Analytical Method development of solid oral dose products in a pharmaceutical contract manufacturing organisation.
- Experience of early phase projects, as well as expertise in the analysis of Raw Materials, Intermediates, API's and Drug Products.
