Our client is part of a leading group focused on Automotive - Plastics products. They are continuously expanding their department and are looking to hire a Quality Engineer.

The company is well-known on the global market for its innovative solutions for the automotive, aerospace, and industrial. They have been heavily investing in projects relating to the electrification of engines for example, which is an area where the automotive has been massively investing into lately. The organisation works on these plus many other lucrative projects in their plant in Belgium. You will be working with the latest technology and contributing to the newest developments in your field constantly. This will ensure you become an advanced expert in your field and will keep you interested and excited about your work.

If you are currently working as a Quality Engineer and you want to progress into a managerial position in the next 1-2 years, then this opportunity will be relevant for you. You will:

  • be responsible for the development and implementation of various production tools. This within the set framework of safety, quality, delivery reliability and costs.
  • develop a 'zero defect' vision in consultation with the Quality Manager
  • identify and coordinate productivity projects in cross functional teams
  • identify different improvement opportunities by using the appropriate analysis techniques
  • supervise projects to improve the quality of the products, taking into account efficiency and efficiency

Your profile:

  • You have an Engineering degree and you have knowledge of Lean techniques
  • You have some experience in an operational technical environment
  • You have a strong analytical and problem-solving ability. In addition, you are highly communicative and a real team player.
  • You are familiar with the IATF standard for Automotive industry
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English, German is a big plus

or this position our client is offering an annual salary package of EUR 60,000 - EUR 68,000 plus bonuses, benefits.
