Sr. Engineer - Industrial

Requirements:
* University degree in Engineering or an equivalent field
* 8-10 years' experience in logistics and industrial engineering preferably in automotive, food or pharmaceutical industry
* Minimum of 5 years successful experience in managing complex international projects
* Solid background in Process Optimization and Automation, LEAN Manufacturing previous exposure is a clear plus
* Ability to build effective project teams and foster a strong collaborative culture internally and with suppliers
* Strong problem solving and organizational capabilities coupled with proven leadership skills
* Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
* Quick and committed learner with a pragmatic, analytical and autonomous mindset
* Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite (MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) coupled with a sound knowledge on CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp) and programming and simulation tools such as MATLAB, FlexSim
* Fluent English is a must

Specific responsibilities:
* Define and design optimal end-to-end processes for material handling, internal transport and storage concepts for new factory development or for existing manufacturing center improvement projects
* Develop and recommend innovative solutions towards industry 4.0 and define potential of implementation throughout the existing worldwide manufacturing footprint
* Demonstrate competences on automated systems and assess applicability to our industry and further build up knowledge to remain on top of latest development
* Initiate, develop, lead and coordinate or participate in industrial improvement initiatives, within multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams, to improve overall manufacturing performance or logistics efficiency
* Establish business justification, scope and resource requirements for projects regarding product, process, equipment, system or facility development or improvement
* Collaborate across plant sites or functions to generate innovative solutions and ideas for technical issues and direct vendors / external resources regarding projects or technical issues and coordinate standardization in establishing guidelines and relevant methods and quality documents
* Provide guidance / training to relevant parties to ensure appropriate technical expertise is utilized and transferred to meet resource requirements and departmental goals
