The University of Iowa’s College of Dentistry is searching for a full-time clinical-track faculty member in Department of Preventive & Community Dentistry. Position available July 1, 2019; screening begins immediately. Must have: DDS/DMD (or equivalent); by time of appointment, certificate and/or degree in Geriatric Dentistry; extensive relevant experience providing comprehensive dental care to frail, compromised older adults, underserved, institutionalized, and special needs adult patients; experience providing comprehensive dental care to residents of nursing facilities; and experience teaching clinical Geriatric Dentistry. Desirable qualifications include: by time of appointment, board certification in Geriatric Dentistry or Special Needs Dentistry; and experience providing comprehensive dental care with mobile equipment.
