Junior Technical Consultant - food - international travel!

Are you looking to get your start in the food ingredients industry? Do you want a role involving lots of international travel? This is the right job for you!

My client, an established company in the food industry, is looking for a trainee to join their team and progress with them.

You will start out in a trainee position for a time of 1.5 or 2 years and gradually be trusted with increasing responsibility until you will take on the role of Technical Consultant / Application Manager and work independently. This will give you a chance to become an expert in the field and build up strong experience while learning from your colleagues as well as being challenged and motivated by your tasks.

In this position you will travel across the entire EMEA region to work with customers, giving you the chance to build an international network that will support you throughout your career. This exciting opportunity means you will work with people of different cultures and ways of working and broaden your horizons constantly.

All you need is:
- A degree in Food Technology, ideally with a focus on meat products
- Either training as a butcher or experience with meat products during internships etc.
- Fluent English skills and willingness to learn German (German skills highly beneficial)
- To be located in the Hamburg area or willing to move there
