A leading manufacturer within the cataract/eye surgery industry require a Medical Affairs Specialist to help support them in their quest to develop the international market for their innovative medical devices.

This is an excellent opportunity for any motivated individual with a background in optometry/cataract/refractive surgery who would like to use their clinical experience within more of a commercial role and help support on medical related issues on an international level. You will be responsible for representing this company on the international stage, acquire medical expertise from KOL's within the refractive/cataract surgery field and support product launches as this company continues to grow and expand. With a strong presence on a global scale, this is the ideal company to join.

As a Medical Affairs Specialist, you will be expected to bring the following skills:

• A clinical background within optometry, ophthalmology, cataract or refractive surgery
• Previous industry experience within medical affairs is beneficial but not essential
• A degree at Masters or PhD level
• Fluency in English. Other European languages are beneficial but not essential
• Candidates must be based close to Bern, Switzerland or have the ability to relocate to the region
