We are working with a leading global supplier in the areas of drivetrain technology, and engine systems, for the Automotive OEM and Aftermarket. The company is looking to hire a Sales Key Account Manager who will join their team in Belgium.

The company is working with leading Automotive OEMs worldwide like Toyota, Daimler and many more on a HQ level. you will get the chance to work with managers and leading engineers. It's a fantastic chance to build a solid network on the highest of levels and really enjoy your cooperation with your clients.

You will have a strong impact on their product selection and implementation. You will be working with the latest technological developments in the industry and you will join a real pioneer in this field. It's a great chance to offer added value to your clients, and actively propose new solutions related to the latest developments in the automotive.

Your will:

  • Support the development of the Sales Dept. business plan
  • Attend and contribute to monthly department meetings
  • Provide forecast information to support the budget and long term sales planning process
  • Foster and develop strong business relationships to customer middle manager level with focus on Purchasing and Engineering
    • Focus on main customer
    • Potential to diversify other customers additionally
  • Regular face to face and email/telecommunication contact with customers
  • Manage the effective and prompt follow up of customer requirements
  • Generate new business opportunities on both new and current models and engines
  • Develop and present product and technical proposals to customers
  • Manage the commercial requirements of products in production with designated customers
  • Attendance at customer meetings relating awarded or current business
  • Arrange and co-chair project meetings with Factory PC Member are held as planned
  • Maintain Project team structure and master timing

Support the Gateway Review process Gate 0 and Gate 1

Your profile:

  • Fluent English, other additional languages are an asset
  • Sales experience in the Automotive OEM market
  • Project Management experience is a plus
  • Engineering Degree is a massive plus
  • Understanding of the latest technologies in the automotive is a must
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally within Europe

For this position our client is offering a salary package of EUR 60,000 - EUR 70,000 plus bonuses, benefits, and company car.
