A postdoctoral position is available in the Systems Neuroscience group at IDIBAPS in Barcelona.

The successful applicant will join a multidisciplinary and international team conducting cutting-edge research into brain oscillations, including mechanisms of generation, alterations in models of neurological diseases, computational modelling, and optopharmacological modulation of activity.
 
Expected profile of applicants:
 

• PhD degree in Neuroscience or Neurotechnology, or related areas.
• Solid research track record
• Extensive experience in electrophysiology
• Proficiency in spoken and written English (level B2) and the ability to write reports and research papers
• Experience in the use of Matlab for data analysis will be positively evaluated
• Experience in other techniques such as imaging, optogenetics, and behaviour modelling will be positively evaluated
