Job Details

Center for Nanotechnology and Tissue Engineer Photobiology and Photomedicine Research Group from FFCLRP-USP, has Post-Doc open position on Photobiology, Photomedicine and Gene expression. The main focus of project is to study the Photodynamic Process of photosensitizer's drugs and nanotechnology on in vitro human glioblastoma models cancer. 

The prospective candidate will focus on the cancer biology and utilization of protocols of laser application in low and high potential. It is necessary knowledge in nanomaterial's as drug delivery systems to photosensitizers in photodynamic processes; in vitro cellular culture and photobiology assays based in low level laser therapy; gene expression signaling pathways of cancer biology. It is important the domain of the English and Portuguese language (fluency).

The post-doc work is linked with São Paulo Research Foundation-FAPESP Brazilian agency of research, in the thematic project number 2013/50181-1, with duration of 18 months.
This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP's Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of BRL 7.373,10 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
