Job Details
The ideal applicants should have strong training in systems biology including metabonomics, metagenomics, cell and molecular biology. Basic training in physiology, molecular genetics, behavioural analysis and experience of working with germ-free animals would be a plus. There is strong infrastructural support including the Singapore Phenome Centre (SPC), a centre of excellence on microbiome research, and a state of the art mouse facility.
The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) is a partnership between two of the world's premier institutions of higher education, Imperial College London and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. The medical school offers a five-year MBBS degree jointly awarded by both institutions. The School graduated its first cohort of medical students in May 2018. At the same time, the School has built up its research faculty and infrastructure to grow into a world-leading research institution.
