Job Details
The School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences (SCMB) combines the disciplines of Chemistry, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Microbiology and Parasitology into a single academic unit. The School has modern research laboratories with state-of-the-art equipment and research infrastructure. The School includes over 50 academic staff, who are widely published internationally and have extensive research backgrounds. The role
This position provides administrative support for strategic initiatives, communication objectives, researcher development, and engagement and impact for the research portfolio in the School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences.
The person
Applicants should have a relevant degree or an equivalent combination of experience and training in research or academic administration. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, well-developed analytical skills and excellent attention to detail. In addition you should be proficient in standard computer software packages and have an understanding of corporate systems.

Remuneration
This is a part-time (0.4 FTE), fixed-term appointment for an initial period of 12 months at HEW Level 5. The remuneration package will be in the range pro rata $64,597.80 - $72.348.94 p.a, plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 9.5% (total package will be in the range pro rata $75,579.42 - $84,648.25 p.a.).
