Senior Quality Engineer - with experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) - Swiss Medical Devices manufacturer - growing company - urgent turnaround

This exciting new role is about maintaining the introduction of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) from a Quality Engineering perspective at a Medical Devices manufacturing site within commuting distance of Zurich.

Tasks to include

• Creating concepts for quality planning and evaluation of suitable automated measurement and test systems, taking into account the new possibilities of an MES environment.
• Creating the documentation and maintaining change messages
• Construction, development and support of production with regard to process stability and quality

The products are Medical devices, designed to improve quality of life for people suffering a variety of clinical conditions, Medical devices experience per se is not essential, but the person should have worked in a GMP environment for 3-5 years, have experience with the introduction of regulated IT systems and / or have a knowledge in handling MES systems. Training in Six Sigma is an advantage

Fluent in German and English, are both essential for this role, spoken and written
