Automation Manager in "Packaging Valley" - Global Leader in Smart Factory

NonStop are recruiting for the global leader in Smart Enterprise and Smart Factory technologies in the cosmetic, food and pharma industries. Building on many years of experience supplying the high-demand industries (high hygiene and tolerance standards), our clients have a worldwide sales and service network which customers benefit from in the USA, South America and the Far East as well as closer to home.
As a renowned center of expertise for packaging technology, Schwäbisch Hall is known for driving innovation in manufacturing technology in this field, and our clients are no exception. This role has been developed to take full advantage of the newest "Industrie 4.0" technologies with a heavy emphasis on high-automation and EPlan, and will continue to drive innovation in these technologies in-house.
As Automation Manager you will:
- Lead Software Engineering for multiple sites
- Manage Hardware design and planning, also for multiple sites
- Strategically develop company automation architecture, to ensure an "Industrie 4.0-ready" site
- Manage new applications for HMI in the highly-automated setting
This is a role aimed at a high-achiever in Elektrotechnik with a strong software focus. It's an ideal chance to drive your career forwards with ample investment in the newest technologies, and will sit in the team at a high "strategic influencer" level. You will be defining overall company strategy for the automation processes of packaging lines with strong corporate participation from company HQ as well as local site heads.
