Clinical Technician & Facilities Officer

The Clinical Skills and Facilities Officer will support the School's nursing and midwifery students learning of core clinical skills by setting up and servicing simulation and medical equipment, supplying consumables and liaising with academic staff to ensure the best possible experience for students. The incumbent will also be responsible for the maintenance of all facilities and general equipment within the School. A significant component of this role includes manual handling and lifting (up to 37 kgs). The successful applicant will require a good knowledge of manual handling techniques and procedures. The incumbent will be required to work across multiple locations.
Applicants should possess a diploma qualification and at least two (2) years subsequent relevant experience. Excellent organisational, time management and interpersonal skills are essential and you must be able to take a flexible approach to your work and find creative solutions to problems.

This is a full-time continuing, appointment at at HEW Level 5. The remuneration package will be in the range $66,347.80 - $74,098.94 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $77,626.92 - $86,695.75 p.a.).
