The portfolio of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) has expanded to support the University's aspirations to grow and diversify its international engagement and allow for future flexibility within a rapidly changing sectoral environment.

    Prospect Management is a key area of capability for the University that will leverage data to identify opportunities to target and build relationships with enquirers and prospective students to improve application and conversion rates. It will manage nurturing and conversion communications with prospective students, and will act as a supportive function for the five faculties as they undertake conversion activity.

    The Prospect Experience Coordinator will be responsible for scheduled electronic communications campaigns with enquirers/applicants, as well as management of the international and domestic calling campaigns, staffed by casual student callers. This role will create/edit copy for outbound communications, applying creative knowledge to generate conversion and nurturing campaigns linked to wider institutional campaigns, including via social media, whilst serving as the principal link with Marketing & Communications.

    Salary: (HEO6) $77,316.00- $83,548.00 per annum.

    Superannuation: An employer contribution of 17% will apply.

    Term of position: This continuing position is available immediately.

    Knowledge and Experience:

    To be successful you will have:

    • an understanding of the process and factors that influence the recruitment outcomes for domestic and international students;
    • demonstrated experience in project management and use of project methodologies coupled with sound analytical skills;
    • excellent communication skills, both oral and written including excellent report writing experience and delivering professional presentations to people at all levels;
    • a strong client focus and the ability to interact professionally with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders of all levels of seniority;
    • experience in working on communications specific to different audiences (future students, management, stakeholder committees) using appropriate channels (email, social media, reports, publications etc.).
