Job Details
We are recruiting for an Insight Manager to join our dynamic, highly respected and fast-growing Development and Alumni Relations (DARO) team. DARO's vision is to ‘unite our global community to inspire positive change and transform people's lives'. This is an exciting opportunity to lead an outstanding Insight function and be part of a highly successful team at a time of extraordinary growth and success. You will deliver insightful analytics and reporting, using this to highlight success, opportunity and areas for improvement in our activity, inform DARO strategy and enable sustained growth in our fundraising and engagement programmes, helping to meet the University's bold ambitions. You will be supported by the Data Officer, who you will manage, support and develop.
With a customer focussed outlook, you will have significant experience of providing detailed analytics and insight for an ambitious and growing team, ideally in a fundraising and engagement environment. You will be proficient in balancing the broader picture, aims and ambitions of the team with an ability to analyse highly nuanced, complex and individual programmes. You will form part of the Development Services management team, and will be an ambassador for our database and the use of data in building plans and strategies. You will have a strong belief in the importance of universities to society, and a good knowledge of the challenges facing fundraising and alumni engagement programmes.
For more information please contact Sandra Jackson, Deputy Director & Head of Development Services on +44(0)117 394 1052 or by emailing sandra.jackson@bristol.ac.uk.
Closing date for applications: midnight on Monday 5th November 2018.
It is anticipated that interviews will be held on Friday 16th November 2018 in Bristol.
The University is committed to creating and sustaining a fully inclusive culture. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and communities.
