Are you medically qualified and ambitious with an interest in research and paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria (PNH) and associated bone marrow failure?

 Do you have experience of working in haematology?

Do you want to further your career by undertaking a PhD in one of the UK's leading research intensive Universities?

You will support and undertake research in paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria (PNH). Your research will focus on the both association between bone marrow failure and PNH, to investigate the pathophysiology of PNH and aplastic anaemia, and the role of complement and complement inhibition in PNH.You will lead your own studies in this area, including laboratory-based method development and advancement of clinical studies contributing to the work of the research group as a whole. During your employment you will also work towards a PhD at the University of Leeds.This is an exciting opportunity for a haematology trainee, especially if you are aiming to sub-specialise in bone marrow failure, PNH and /or haemolytic disease or pursue an academic career. You will be medically qualified with MRCP or equivalent and full GMC registration.
