Software Engineer - Design Lead

A Swiss Financial Service company are heavily investing in new technology and are looking for a solution and Integration Engineer to join the engineering and development team. This is a great chance for you to work in all stages of the Software development lifecycle, making each day different and interesting! You will be leading the design and development of integrated solutions.

The Role
You will be responsible for the design, development and configuration of existing systems and introducing new systems.
* Design and development of integrated solutions for middleware, web and mobile applications
* Technical ownership of backend applications and micro services
* Provide project support for initiatives related to the applications' portfolio

You will have the chance to acquire strong banking business knowledge whilst working on the most up to date technologies.

Requirements
* 7+ years developing Java based applications
* Knowledge of Software Design Patterns and Object Oriented Principles
* Experience in Service-Oriented (SOA) architecture and Microservice (MSA) architecture
* Experience in designing and implementing ESB/Middleware solutions
* SQL knowledge
* Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
