Job Details

Bristol University Press (BUP), encompassing the award-winning Policy Press (PP), is looking for a Marketing and Conferences Assistant to support the Marketing Team in a wide range of activities.

The Marketing and Conferences Assistant will assist the Marketing Manager in running the Press's programme of conference and launch attendance, booking exhibits conferences and preparing the displays, as well as providing general administrative support to the Marketing Team.

The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities. Independence and initiative will be required to meet tight deadlines and accuracy and attention to detail are crucial.

Experience of working in an administrative role in a busy office environment is essential and ideally, you will have some knowledge of publishing processes and an interest in marketing.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a dynamic, not-for-profit scholarly press based at one of the world's top universities.
