Purchase Manager - Automotive - Reputable Company

NonStop Technical is working with a Belgian Automotive company which is active in the Distribution & Aftermarket. Currently, they are looking to hire a Purchasing Manager who will be managing 3 people in the department.

Our client is well-known in the trucks and trailers market. They are offering vehicles, as well as parts on the market, and are actually one of the global leaders for some items in their product portfolio. This is a company with great reputation on the market in terms of the quality of their offerings. The organisation is also known for having a stable environment internally, with people rarely leaving the company. This means that you will have a stable managerial position, for a company that has been experiencing growth and is serving the market in a profitable manner.

This will give you more leadership responsibilities and it will be a great step forward in the field of Purchasing/Supply Chain for you. Functie-inhoud:

• Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen van een strategisch en kostenefficiënt aankoopbeleid en leidt hierbij een team van 3 aankoopmedewerkers
• Je stelt richtlijnen, systemen en procedures op voor het goed functioneren van de aankoopprocessen en dit in lijn met het beleid van de organisatie.
• Je weet de aankoop (prijs & hoeveelheid) perfect af te stemmen op de verkoop en weet de feedback van de verkoop in het aankoopproces te gebruiken.
• Je bent continue bezig om de beste aankoopvoorwaarden te verkrijgen (prijs, levertermijn kwaliteit, betalingscondities,…). Je bouwt hiervoor goede relaties op met de bestaande leveranciers, doet aan prijsonderhandelingen en zoekt nieuwe leveranciers.
• Je rapporteert aan de Directeur.

Profiel:

• Je hebt minstens 5-10 jaar ervaring als aankoper/hoofdaankoper/aankoop manager van technische producten.
• Je hebt ervaring met SAP.
• Je hebt leidinggevende ervaring.
• Je spreekt vlot Nederlands, Frans en Engels

For this position our client is offering a salary package of EUR 4,000-EUR 5,000 per month, plus company car, bonuses, benefits.
