Summary of role:

We are looking for candidates who have experience in the taxonomy area of ​​Mesostigmata edaphic mites, desirably skilled in the elaboration of taxonomic keys using the Lucid® program. The grantee will also perform activities related to that area, that is, participating in field collections, processing, extraction and assembly of mites, and also collaborating in the elaboration of catalogs on families found in this environment. It will also participate in activities related to biosystematics to support the separation of nearby species. The activities will be conducted together with the Plant Protection Department of FCAV-UNESP, in Jaboticabal, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Raphael de Campos Castilho, researcher of this project.

The postdoctoral fellow will receive a FAPESP grant in the amount of R $ 7,373.10 per month, which will last 24 months with a possible renewal for another 12 months, and there is also the possibility of having installation assistance. The vacancy is open to Brazilians and foreigners. The selected will be entitled to a Technical Reserve equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the scholarship to meet unforeseen expenses directly related to the research activity.
