Supervisor, Dental lab

Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:

• plan, monitor, maintain and improve dental lab operations to ensure timely preparation of all cases with minimum re-do 
• maintain Log book of all cases that are being delivered in dental lab
• work in coordination with dental lab technicians and clinic supervisors
• manage dental lab's inventory by coordinating with Purchase department to ensure products are coming on time
• contact Outreach Secondary Hospitals to explain about the services being offered in main campus dental lab
• work with BM to formulate business proposals for dental lab expansion plan
• contribute to maintenance of an aseptic environment in the dental lab by following Infection control policies/ procedures and protocols
• maintain equipment and instruments in dental lab and report immediately in case of dysfunction or breakage
• ensure updated PPM of equipment and report findings to Business Manager
• ensure maximum utilization of the dental lab by follow-up and implementation of booking of all cases and coordinate the daily activities of lab with Floor Supervisor and Clinic Supervisor
• supervise Housekeeping staff in order to ensure cleanliness of the dental lab.

Requirements

You should have:

• a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (MBA preferred)
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in the field
• good communication skills (both written and verbal)
• good interpersonal, organizing and coordination skills
• ability to work under stress.
• proficiency in computers especially in MS Office
• ability to manage assigned task according to timelines.
• ability to work both independently and as a team member
• flexible timings (available in evening shifts, offs etc.)
