You will be part of a team of research project and administrative support for the Bristol Composites Institute (ACCIS), who themselves are part of the wider network of project managers and administrators that work within the Faculty's Industrial Liaison Office (ILO)
You will manage the University relationship with the University-owned National Composites Centre (NCC). This will involve working closely with academics in ACCIS and the wider University, technical and business development staff at the NCC and the senior teams at both the University and the NCC, in order to provide business development support.
You will also provide support for the Future Composites Manufacturing Hub, led by the University of Nottingham, with an emphasis on supporting the exploitation of outputs from the Hub. You will work closely with colleagues across the Hub and the University's Research and Enterprise Development team to explore opportunities to commercialise research. You will identify and contact companies that may be interested in composites research, and work closely with the relevant academics to enable them to generate maximum impact from their research.
We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and communication skills, a pro-active approach to seeking new opportunities to work with industry, a proven ability to build rapport and influence, experience of preparing funding and/or business cases and excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
This position is being offered on a full time, open-ended contract. Funding for this role is initially available until December 2023.

We appreciate and value difference, seeking to attract, develop and retain a diverse mix of talented people that will contribute to the overall success of Bristol and help maintain our position as one of the world's leading universities.
