Social Worker - Video Interaction Guidance - MASH Team
A Local Authority in South West London is currently looking for a Permanent Social Worker within their MASH Team (Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub).
You will be joining one of a few local authorities in the country piloting the the VIG (Video Interaction Guidance). This is a useful intervention that films the communication exchange between child and adult. These films are then carefully edited to help focus on the positives and are then shown to the families. The use of VIG really can bring about some dramatic improvements on communication and relationships. We are delighted to be part of this pilot scheme where several members of our staff are working to VIG accreditation.
There are 2 MASH teams within this authority and as an Qualified Social Worker, within the team there is a dedicated CSE Practitioner who ensures effective oversight and co-ordination across all social work areas and partner agencies.
Apply for this position if you are a Social Worker with experience within MASH, Intake, Assessment and Section 47s. You must have a HCPC registration.
