Office of Marketing and Communications 

The Office of Marketing and Communications provides leadership and expertise in strategic marketing, communications and branding to position UQ as a world-class, research-intensive university.

The role

The successful appointee will deliver and support strategically-aligned student recruitment events, including UQ Open Day, Careers that Shape the World, OP Results Advice and events that support UQ postgraduate recruitment. A significant part of the role involves building collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of events. There will also be a range of marketing projects and activities to coordinate or support.

The person

Applicants should possess qualifications in marketing, event management or a related discipline combined with significant relevant experience. You should have a strong customer service focus, excellent project and event management skills, and be a confident communicator.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

Remuneration

This is a full-time, fixed term appointment for 12 months at HEW Level 6. The remuneration package will be in the range $75,957.07 - $81,714.50 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of 9.5%.
