Working with a global company boasting turnover into the billions has recently expanded its product range even further. Servicing a broad spectrum of areas whilst being widely known for a niche area of speciality, our client offers a chance to progress, grow and develop. The attraction here rests on a wide product range, job security and not only working within REACH but also Biocides.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Working for the European regulatory department you will be responsible for the compliance of all medical device and biocide registrations as well as playing a part in active ingredient registrations You will be tasked with supporting Biocidal actives through the Biocidal Products Directive review process. This will be for the EMEA region. Expert advice on Biocides and strategy implementation regulation of products for Consumer and Healthcare.
Working with the review of active substances under the BPR
Submission of applications for product registration or renewal
Regulatory body interaction as well as engagement with 3rd parties such as suppliers and other stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS
Educated to degree level in a science related field. Degree in Chemistry or Environmental Sciences or a related area is ideal.
A proven background within Biocide Registrations particularly within active ingredient registrations. Regulation (EU) no 528/2012 experience is essential or previous Biocide regulation directives (98/8)
Experience in disinfectants particularly those related to the medical device arena will be an advantage but not a core requirement.
