Senior Research Assistant (Infectious Disease), Department of Medicine

The Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Senior Research Assistant (Contractual Position) at Karachi, Pakistan.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:

• ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of research related activities
• liaison with project sites/laboratories assigned in project
• responsible for data management, maintaining and logging sample information
• carrying out bench work and technically expert on bench related activity
• identifying & ordering consumables required for research project
• management, compilation & analysis of research data
• assist in preparing manuscripts and abstracts for publication and presentation as required by investigators, administrators and funding agencies
• collaborate with research coordinator or principal investigator for research project

 

Requirements

You must have:

• at least Bachelors of Sciences/ MBBS/BDS will be preferred
• at least 1 year research related or clinical experience
• good observation and interviewing skills
• good communication and interpersonal skills
• ability to do literature search for project 
• proficiency in computer especially MS Office
